"In Seville, at the Casa de Pilatos, an exclusive line of products has been presented under the brand "Duquesa de Medinaceli". Don Pablo Hohenlohe, assistant to the president of the Foundation and architect of the project, has sought excellence in each product, its historical link with the House of Medinaceli and a design inspired by drawings and ornaments from 16th century manuscripts of the first Dukes of Medinaceli. An arbequina oil, three perfumes and candles are the first products in this line. The oil, a limited edition of "Castillo de Canena", made by blending a careful selection of the best Arbequina juices from its olive groves, is a tribute to the 11th Duke of Medinaceli who in the 18th century introduced this variety, from Palestine, to his Barony of Arbeca, from which it derived its name. The three perfumes have been created by Hillpart from essences and aromas from the Foundation's main monuments: Hospital de Tavera Casa de Pilatos and Palacio de Oca. The candles, handmade by Candel's, evoke the favourite scent of the 18th Duchess of Medinaceli, tuberose. The products will be available in the Foundation's shops and in other prestigious establishments, both in Spain and abroad".
