The Fundación Casa Ducal de Medinaceli hosted the IV Jornada de Patrimonio Histórico, held this morning at the Hospital de Tavera, Toledo. This meeting, organised by the Asociación Red de Patrimonio Histórico, to which the Foundation has belonged since its origins, addressed the mission, vision and strategy of the association, as well as the services it offers to achieve its goals. The inauguration of the event was attended by Mr. Juan Manuel Albendea Solís, director of the Foundation, Mr. Javier Fitz-James Stuart, president of the Historical Heritage Network and the president of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha.
The event was also attended by the Regional Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Ms. Patricia Franco Jiménez. At the end of the day, the attendees enjoyed a guided tour of the Hospital de Tavera, which began in the Church and Sacristy, with the work of El Greco and Alonso Berruguete, continued through the hospital pharmacy and the museum and ended in the hall of the Ducal Archive of Medinaceli.
