"El arte de la representación del espacio: Mapas y planos de la colección Medinaceli" is the title of the catalogue of the very rich collection of maps and plans in the Ducal Archive of Medinaceli, which brings together 630 maps, plans, drawings and sketches of monuments, cities or territories historically linked to the House of Medinaceli or its aggregates. The geographical area concerned covers the entire national territory and even goes beyond it, due to the positions held by some of the lords of the House in the Hispanic monarchy, and its chronological span goes from the 16th to the 20th century. The work has been published by the University of Huelva and coordinated by the former director of the Ducal Archive of Medinaceli, Antonio Sánchez González".
