The restoration work on the Pantheon of the Marquises of La Torrecilla continue to progress with remarkable success. The deep cleaning work on the façade and walls has been carried out with precision, while the repair of roofs and vaults is progressing satisfactorily. The main objective of these interventions is to preserve the architectural integrity and historical value of this emblematic monument, located in the heart of the city. In line with the original draft of the Marquis of Cubas, the replacement of the blackboard by lead on the roof structure is in its final phase, achieving the previously awarded results. The delicate task of dismantling the slate and battens has been successfully completed. The next step in the process is the comprehensive restoration of the stained glass of the family cemetery, which will allow more natural light into the interior. At the same time, progress is being made on the lead restoration of the gargoyles, thus ensuring the complete preservation of the heritage.
