Fortress of the Counts of Castellar

The Castle of the Counts of Castellar stands on a hill in the town of Castellar de la Frontera in Cádiz. Its appearance, location and adaptation to the terrain make it one of the few examples of a medieval fortification, in which the main gateway leads into the town and its walls enclose the entire enclosure. Through the parade ground, you can access an interior farmhouse, from which the castle's keep stands out.
