Goya, The Awakening of Consciousness From 22 March to 23 June 2024 The exhibition highlights the change of attitude of Francisco de Goya (1746-1828) towards the world through his graphic and pictorial creations. It is an opportunity to approach the figure of the artist through his work and to contemplate his artistic and vital evolution. The exhibition has the added value of presenting, for the first time in history, all the copper plates that Goya created and used to print his engravings. Twenty-eight paintings, six drawings and more than three hundred copper prints and matrices engraved by Goya are on display in the two temporary exhibition rooms of the Academy, Goya's house, to take us into the universe of this distinguished artist.
