The Foundation signs a collaboration agreement with Bornos Town Council

20 March 2013

In accordance with the aims of the Fundación Casa Ducal de Medinaceli, which pursue the conservation of the historical heritage linked to this house, this institution has signed a collaboration agreement with the Town Council of Bornos for the restoration of the Renaissance gardens of the Palacio de los Enríquez de Ribera in this town. The agreement includes advice both for the recovery of the formal Renaissance garden and for a fundamental study of the loggia that Benvenutto Tortello built in the seventies of the 16th century on behalf of the 1st Duke of Alcalá, Viceroy of Naples, an almost contemporary intervention to the one that this same architect developed in the Sevillian residence of the same Duke, currently known as Casa de Pilatos.
