Saint Matthew the Evangelist

As in the rest of the Gospels with which he forms a series, he is depicted standing, but unlike Saint Luke and Saint Mark, he does not carry the Gospel, but rather, together with the pen and inkwell, he is offered it by the angel who traditionally symbolises him.
