Portrait of a Roman lady with her hair parted in the middle and in waves at the nape of her neck, gathered in a bun. From the type of hairstyle and the sensitive modelling of the head, it can be classified as a piece from the time of the Emperor Antoninus Pius. The bust, in red marble, is Renaissance.
