On 15 February 2023 at 7 p.m. in the stables of the Casa de Pilatos the concert of the Choir will take place. The Byron Consort Harrow School, made up of a selection of children from one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in England: Harrow School. The vocal ensemble founded in 2001 by Philip Evans, director of the choir, performs a cappella a mixture of religious and secular music from the renaissance, post-romantic and contemporary periods.
The polyphonic repertoire will focus on three countries: England, Italy and Spain, performing works by Thomas Tallis, Giovanni Pierlugi da Palestrina and Spain, highlighting the work of the great Sevillian master buried in Seville's cathedral, Francisco Guerrero.
