On 30 December at 19:30, the Christmas Concert of the Capilla Musical de Seises del Salvador, directed by María Jesús Garcia and with Emilio José Alejo at the organ, and the Agrupación Coral Ubetense, directed by Ramon Ramos, took place in the Sacred Chapel of the Saviour of Úbeda. At the end of the concert, at the occasion of his retirement, he received a gift from his relatives, members of the choir, who dedicated a Christmas carol to him.
