The Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo has awarded the Ducal House of Medinaceli Foundation for the refurbishment project of the church and sacristy of the Hospital Tavera in Toledo. The intervention on the roofs of the chapel has sought to restore all its sepulchral symbolism and to recover, in addition to its watertightness, its original appearance in terms of both geometry and materials, with the recovery of black glazed tiles and the gilding of all its metallic elements. For its part, the sacristy was completely restored on the occasion of the Greco year 2014.
