On Tuesday 6 September, in the Basilica of Jesús de Medinaceli in Madrid, a funeral mass was celebrated in suffrage for the XIX Duke of Medinaceli, Marco de Hohenlohe-Langenburg y de Medina, attended by His Majesty King Felipe VI, who was received at the door of the Basilica by the deceased's siblings, Don Pablo and Doña Flavia de Hohenlohe-Langenburg. The mass was officiated by the provincial superior of the Capuchin Fathers' community, Father Benjamín Echeverría, and concelebrated by the prior of the Capuchin community of the Basilica and patron of the Ducal House of Medinaceli Foundation, Father José María Fonseca, and by Father Gregorio Blanco.
